We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead and develop the crew on each shift and will be responsible for decision making regarding productivity and quality needs.
In this role, you will be also training, developing, and implementing Autonomous Maintenance (AM) methodology to eliminate losses.
The position is based in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.
You must be able to rotate shifts.

What you will do
As Production Supervisor you will :
Be able to operate all operations in process area; drive the machine, to produce quality product within specification in a safe and efficient manner.
Understand the quality standards intended for the process, to perform quality inspection using designated equipment.
Investigate anomalies, lead single event analysis, maintain logs and reports, report any anomalies that impact the quality of the process, complying with the specifications.
Lead and participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) teams and activities to eradicate losses in the process following the WCM methodology.
Drive the safety culture and program within the area, complying with the safety policy and all measures including safety standards like HIRA, LOTO and food safety standards.
Lead AM teams and activities in the area.
Train, develop and implement AM methodology to eliminate losses on shift by improving machine reliability, quality, safety, efficiency and maintaining the gain by standardization.
Troubleshoot problems causing waste and improve the situation and further prevent waste generation by ensuring all procedures are followed.
Zero loss mindset, being proactive to further minimize waste by continuous improvement.
Responsible for accurate consumption and traceability of materials.
Manage team and employee development : ensure enough managing (manage vacation, leave, and overtime scheduling for operators – plan, approve and report), handle all performance management activities and appraisals of all operators in shift in process area.
Provide training to new operators, drive development of all operators on shift.
Lead shift handovers, support cell team on daily management system including reporting, loss identification, loss analysis, creating and updating standards.
We believe you have
Shifts availability
Bachelor's degree in related areas (industrial, electronic engineering or related)
2 years of relevant experience working in the production floor, inside of a manufacturing environment, managing at least 10 direct reports.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Nice to have machine maintenance skills.
Quality inspection and machine systems handling.
Strong knowledge of WCM and AM Methodology.
Knowledge of P2 production system and SAP preferred.
Management of operator tags through AM.
Ability to read, understand and comply with work instruction, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures and WCM processes.
