Senior Software Developer (Fullstack / UI)

As a Developer in the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge to the architecture, design, prototyping, troubleshooting, and development of various aspects of the analytics platform.

Your responsibilities include designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks.

As a member of the division, you will assist in defining and developing software related to the creation, debugging, or designing of software applications or operating systems. You will specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet evolving needs.

This role involves varied and complex duties requiring independent judgment. Candidates should be fully competent in their area of expertise, holding a BS or MS degree, or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area, with 5+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) is a comprehensive business analytics and intelligence platform offering a full range of analytics and reporting capabilities. It is a market-leading Business Intelligence platform providing enterprise-level performance, security, scalability, and manageability, along with advanced features in core analytics. Built on an open, standards-based platform, integrated with Oracle Middleware technology, and available as both a standalone and embedded solution in Oracle Fusion Applications for on-premise and cloud deployments.

We seek highly motivated engineers with strong development experience in Java & JEE, web technologies, and exposure to highly scalable, distributed, multithreaded applications.

• Computer Science degree
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Extensive experience in building and diagnosing multithreaded applications
• Exposure to Kubernetes & Docker
• Ability to design large, scalable enterprise systems
• Passion for learning and working on new technology innovations
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills, with experience working with both technical and non-technical personnel
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms
• Knowledge of SQL for databases

Additional skills include object-oriented programming, core Java & JEE, building and using RESTful APIs, Kubernetes & Docker, Python, Shell scripting, and SQL.
