Medical Science Liaison - Respiratory

Overview

The Medical Science Liaison is a medical professional with strong scientific and therapeutic area expertise with an essential field-role focused on developing and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with medical experts, key opinion leaders and key stakeholders.

MSLs engage in in-depth medical and scientific product or disease area discussions, and presentations in a non-promotional scientific context.

The MSL will primarily support the company's High Specialty Franchise collaborating with a cross-functional team to transform the therapeutic context of interest.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations and relationships with key medical experts in the therapeutic area of interest (e.g. respiratory).

Identify and engage the external community appropriately in robust scientific dialogue that generates insight and advances scientific and medical understanding.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the access strategy.

Support clinical development initiatives, including site identification, trial recruitment, registry, and follow-up activities across the continuum (investigator sponsored studies, collaborative sponsored studies, GSK sponsored studies).

Serve as a scientific, clinical, and medical content expert and partner within all areas of Medical Affairs (e.g. Medical Directors, Medical Communications, Medical).

Establish and maintain a compliant, supportive partnership with Sales team and other counterparts within the Commercial organization.

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :

Bachelor's degree in medicine

Proven experience in clinical area of respiratory or pulmonology fields.

English level : Intermediate

Demonstrated leadership, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Medical specialization in the therapeutic area is desirable (respiratory).
