Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in front-end development with Angular.
  • Expertise in Angular version 15+ for building complex applications.
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS, SCSS
  • Experience with state management using Redux / NGRX
  • Automated testing experience with Jest
  • Experience with real-time applications using Websockets
  • Familiarity with NX Monorepo for managing codebases
  • Understanding of Agile working methodologies
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced English, Spanish desired but not mandatory
  • Experience or knowledge of E-Trading systems (Experienced).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Delivery practices (Experienced).

Role Description

The role involves working as a front-end developer on a greenfield fixed-income trading platform. This platform is a strategic, high-profile project within the investment banking space. The developer will join an agile team distributed across multiple locations, contributing to the build-out and enhancement of electronic trading capabilities in the fixed income financial market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create user interfaces (UIs) focusing on optimizing user experience for a critical trading application.
  • Participate actively in developing a new team and a greenfield solution aimed at enhancing electronic trading capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across different regions.
  • Produce high-quality front-end code adhering to best practices.
  • Engage in continuous communication within Agile processes, such as sprint planning and reviews.
  • Participate in code reviews, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
  • The role offers a chance to be part of a newly formed team targeting innovation in trading platforms.
  • Interaction and collaboration with stakeholders including traders and product teams are expected.
  • Work closely with development leads and UI specialists to align on candidate selection and project delivery.
