Functional Tester

Overview

TCS is looking for a Functional Tester . (Candidate needs to be located or relocate to Querétaro, CDMX, Guadalajara or Monterrey, it will be requested to attend office at least 3 day per week).

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Functional Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in manual and automated functional testing, with the ability to take full ownership of quality assurance across the software development lifecycle. The role requires a mix of functional validation, test design, automation skills, and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile applications.
• Develop and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.
• Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool such as MABL , Selenium , or similar tools.
• Actively participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups , ensuring test coverage for all new features.
• Report defects with clear documentation and collaboration with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Demonstrate a proactive mindset with a problem-solving attitude—taking complete ownership of assigned tasks.
• Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and maintain test documentation for audit and release purposes.
• Contribute to test automation framework development and CI / CD integration (nice to have).
