Your role and responsibilities

As aTest Specialist at IBM, your technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create, and your recommendations and findings will help us make sure we're delivering the best of the best. Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike. In your role you may be responsible for :

We are seeking a Manual QA Tester with a strong QA mindset and the ability to quickly ramp up across diverse systems and applications. This person will play a key role in ensuring test coverage across backend and frontend systems while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should understand product requirements deeply , identify gaps in coverage , and take ownership of test activities across the software development lifecycle.

They will work using standard enterprise tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Postman , and manage access through ServiceNow tickets and cloud-based portals accessed via SLID credentials.

Strong QA Analytical Mindset

Ability to think critically, identify gaps, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Manual Test Design and Execution Experience

Proven ability to create and run test cases for UI, backend, and APIs.

API Testing with Postman

Essential for validating backend services and integrations.

Test Case Management in Jira

Experience documenting and managing test cases using Jira.

Quick Ramp-Up on New Applications

Ability to understand complex systems and workflows quickly.
