Senior Tax Analyst - Mexico

Location : Azcapotzalco, Mexico. Role Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Tax Analyst to join our finance team in Mexico. This role will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with Mexican tax regulations, preparing and reviewing tax filings, supporting audits, and providing accounting support related to tax matters. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Key Responsibilities : Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns (ISR, VAT, IEPS, etc.). Analyze and reconcile tax-related accounting accounts. Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities. Monitor and implement changes in tax legislation and regulations. Coordinate with external advisors and internal teams (Accounting, Legal, Finance). Generate tax reports for corporate headquarters and support SOX compliance (if applicable). Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in tax reporting. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory). Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax-related roles, preferably in multinational companies or audit firms. Strong knowledge of Mexican tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Intermediate English Experience with SAP or other ERP systems. Key Competencies : Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
