Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead business expansion and growth, focusing on the LATAM market. This role will drive market penetration, establish strategic partnerships, and ensure successful adoption of innovative genetic testing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion : Identify and develop new market opportunities in LATAM, establishing a strong market presence and increasing market share.Strategic Partnerships : Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, diagnostic centers, and key stakeholders to enhance product distribution and adoption.Sales & Revenue Growth : Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, ensuring long-term success and profitability.Market Analysis and Strategy : Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends in the region, translating insights into actionable business strategies.Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all business development activities comply with local regulatory requirements and ethical standards in the biotech and healthcare industries.Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and operations, to build-up the local business operation workflow.Reporting & Forecasting : Provide regular reports on business development activities, market conditions, and sales forecasts to senior management.Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in business administration, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Experience : At least 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the biotech or healthcare industry.
Skills :
Proven track record of driving sales growth and market expansion in a competitive environment.Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform business decisions.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Knowledge of the LATAM healthcare market is highly desirable.Language : Proficiency in English is required.Genomics and molecular diagnostics expertise is an asset.
