Senior Solution Consultant – Genesys
Genesys empowers organizations to improve loyalty and business outcomes by delivering empathetic, personalized experiences at scale. The Senior Solution Consultant joins our Pre-Sales team to work with Sales Account Executives on developing new business across Genesys product lines. This client-facing role collaborates with all levels of customer organizations, tailoring messaging to meet the needs of stakeholders including C-level decision makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside Sales Account Executives to provide technical and consulting expertise regarding the Genesys solutions.
- Manage assigned prospects / customers to help progress sales opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer problems and solution benefits for all prospect and customer interactions.
- Ensure Sales Account Executives are supported effectively.
- Act as a link between customer needs and potential solution value; support sales opportunities through the technical complexity of Genesys offerings.
- Develop and apply best-practice principles in Solutions Consulting; understand Service Design methodology; engage effectively with executive and middle management.
Opportunity Engagement

Experience in a Solutions Engineering role with live demonstrations and presentation materials (PowerPoint and / or Keynote).Strong time-management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task across multiple workstreams.Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with internal stakeholders.Analytical ability and data-driven decision making; ability to support recommendations with evidence.Proactive, self-initiating attitude with sound reasoning and evidence-based conclusions.Proven track record of meeting / exceeding goals; ability to present to Genesys management as required.3+ years of business experience in one or more areas : software / solutions engineering (cloud or SaaS, microservices, etc.); consulting in a software environment; international experience is a plus.Enterprise software or contact center industry experience.About Genesys
