Overview
Data Automation Specialist within the Global Index Management & Production Group (IMPG). This role supports the EUC Debt Reduction initiative by migrating and standardizing offline processes (Excel, Python, SQL) into strategic applications like I6, and by establishing best practices for Python usage in alignment with EUC Policy.
The team collaborates across Equity IMPG and Fixed Income IMPG to drive automation initiatives, ensure strong stakeholder partnerships, and deliver reliable data ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse range of teams to develop automation solutions that boost operational efficiency.
- Contribute to establishing best practices in Python automation and data enablement to drive lasting process improvements.
- Engage in projects that contribute to Enterprise Working Groups in areas such as Private Markets, Wealth Model Portfolios, Crypto, DeFi, and Tokenization.
- Oversee the end-to-end design, testing, and refinement of automation solutions (Product Management).
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align automation standards and priorities (Coordination and Communication).
- Manage sprints and project timelines following Agile principles (Project Management).
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate automation solutions against business requirements.
- Gather and analyze requirements to inform automation projects (Business Analysis).
- Maintain clear documentation of automation processes, standards, and outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as a business analyst, modeler, or product owner in a data-centric environment.Fundamental understanding of equity and fixed income markets.Proven experience working within an Agile framework, including sprint management and cross-functional collaboration.Proficiency in Python for automation and implementing best practices.Strong business analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to document and communicate to technical and business audiences.Experience collaborating in global teams with diverse backgrounds.Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.Preferred Qualifications
