Supplier Quality Engineer - Component Introduction - Autonomous Mobility
Join AUMOVIO, a technology and electronics company focused on safe, exciting, connected, and autonomous mobility. This role supports component introduction in customer and development projects, with emphasis on risk management, supplier quality assurance, and collaboration across global teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive component introduction within the customer and development projects
- Perform risk analysis and create risk mitigation plans with the Supplier, SQM P, and project team
- Drive the risk mitigation plan across the PLC and initiate corrective actions (e.g., escalation) if the plan is not on track
- Identify missing or outdated audits / GQA and request (re-)audit or completion from the responsible SQM
- Track and plan execution of SCR
- Ensure on-time sourcing of feasible suppliers with decisions signed according to signature rules
- Plan, initiate and control failure prevention oriented, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase for supplied parts
- Plan, initiate, implement and control appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the full process chain in the make / market phase for all supplied goods and services
- Implement and control quality improvement and development programs of suppliers
- Prepare and execute visits and management meetings with suppliers
- Troubleshoot supplier problems and support SQM plants for escalation
- Ensure on-time releases of new components
- Provide regular updates of APQP status via SupplyOn
- Provide feedback on APQP / PPAP status from SQM to project team / engineering / SQM P and to customer on demand
- Promote Lessons Learned within BA and SQM related to component introduction, supplier selection, and technology experience
- Support escalation management regarding SQM topics for cross-product family / customer cases
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Economics / Technical studies or relevant professional experienceMinimum 2 years of experience in the automotive environment, ideally in PurchasingExperience in working with international teams on purchasing issuesAbility to collaborate with different foreign culturesManagement skills and techniques supporting strategic, profit- and results-oriented handling (e.g., Balanced Scorecard, Benchmarking)Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across culturesProblem solving, decision making, project management, and sourcing skillsKnowledge of Process and Product Life Cycle (PLC)Purchasing management experience, including quality system requirements, policies, norms, and risk managementTechnical understanding of specific componentsCommercial knowledge including contract lawAdditional Information
