Bilingual Supply Chain Professional

Job Opportunity :

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing supplier development and evaluation strategies in Mexico and the Latin American region.

Your primary focus will be on identifying, screening, and evaluating potential suppliers for motors, bearings, housings, and electronic control units. This involves lead supplier audits and establishing a qualified supplier list, driving annual cost reduction initiatives to ensure cost competitiveness.

You will work closely with R&D, quality, and production teams to advance PPAP approvals and support ramp-up for new suppliers. Additionally, you will collaborate with SQE to resolve supplier quality issues, such as 8D reports and claim processes.

In this role, you will also develop Mexico localization procurement strategies to reduce reliance on single-source supply chains and enhance supply chain resilience. Furthermore, you will monitor market trends and adjust sourcing plans in a timely manner.

This position requires a strong expertise in full lifecycle supplier management (sourcing, negotiation, performance evaluation, exit mechanisms). The ideal candidate should have familiarity with automotive industry standards such as IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3, with hands-on APQP / PPAP experience.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering, etc.) or Supply Chain Management.
• 5+ years of supplier development experience in the automotive industry, preferably in electric compressors, motors, or thermal management systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

The right candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be fluent in both English and Spanish, capable of cross-cultural communication.
