About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled procurement specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing high-quality components at competitive prices, while ensuring timely delivery and effective execution of product operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams, including product development and country managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Materials Sourcing : Source and procure high-quality materials and components from approved suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
• Manage delivery schedules and timelines to meet product launch deadlines.
• Supplier Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Product Operations : Work closely with product development teams to ensure timely delivery of prototypes and production-ready products. Coordinate with factory managers to resolve production-related issues and ensure smooth execution of product launches. Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs throughout the product lifecycle.

Working hours : 40 hours per week. Location : Leon, Mexico. Travel requirements : occasional travel to supplier locations and industry events may be required.
