Maintenance Manager

The ideal candidate will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that they are both safe and operating efficiently.

This candidate will be comfortable managing a team and conducting analysis in order to highlight areas for improvement.

This candidate should also be comfortable ensuring necessary utilities are working correctly and possess strong organizational skills in order to keep track of multiple projects at once.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performanceDevelop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectivelySchedule both internal and external work(s) maximising planned down time and reducing unplanned downtimeManage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift managementOptimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance IndicatorsEnsure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertakenEnsure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support / solutions when requiredQualificationsENGLISH ADVANCEDBachelor's degree in Engineering+5 years supervisory experience with heavy machinery, production lines or related fieldsStrong critical thinking and organizational skillsAbility to identify and solve inefficiencies in processesStrong ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues in industrial machinery and infrastructure.Experience in asset lifecycle management, failure analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
