We are looking for a :

Purchasing Specialist – Middle level

Location : Apodaca, Nuevo León

Position Objective :

Develop and implement procurement strategies and general management of goods or a specific product category, ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies, while achieving the best total cost of ownership and optimal conditions for the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Develop suppliers that offer competitive advantages, including lowest total cost, highest quality, and superior customer service.
• Prepare and conduct contract and price negotiations.
• Analyze demand to establish appropriate agreements and delivery times.
• Prepare analytical reports.
• Mitigate sourcing risks and promote continuous improvement.
• Achieve savings targets.
• Supplier evaluation, development, and action plans.
• Market knowledge and analysis.

Requirements :

1. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Commerce, Engineering, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.

2. Experience : Minimum of 2 years in direct materials purchasing.

3. Language : Advanced conversational English is essential.

4. Skills : Advanced Excel proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications :

CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)

CTSC (Certified in Transportation and Supply Chain)

Skills :

Goal-oriented and self-directed.

Strong analytical, reporting, and synthesis capabilities.

Negotiation and contract management skills.

Decision-making ability.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to execute tasks accurately and on time.

Capability to complete projects and achieve goals despite obstacles.

Integrity and ethics.

Desired experience with SAP ERP.

Salary range : 25k - 30k MXN per month.
