Good Boi Marketing is a fast-growing digital marketing agency that helps dog groomers and dog daycares generate 90+ booked appointments in 90 days using our PAWS Method — a proven lead generation system powered by Facebook Ads, Local Service Ads, and automation.
We’re looking for a Creative Media Strategist (VA) who can edit viral-style short-form videos, manage social content, and create ad creatives that perform. If you understand the science behind viral content — hooks, pacing, CTAs, and trend alignment — this role is for you.
Position Overview
As our Creative Media Strategist, you’ll handle both content creation and execution for Good Boi Marketing and our clients. You’ll take raw footage, edit it into scroll-stopping short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), and manage posting and performance tracking.
This is not a “just edit videos” job. You’ll be responsible for creating content that gets views, builds engagement, and converts.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
- Edit 5–10 Reels / TikToks per week for GBM and clients
- Repurpose long-form clips into short-form content
- Add captions, jump cuts, music, emojis, and transitions
- Create multiple ad variations for A / B testing
- Maintain platform-specific formatting and pacing (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Social Media Management
- Manage and post on GBM’s Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Write captions and CTAs aligned with GBM’s brand voice
- Research trends, sounds, and creative formats weekly
- Track performance metrics (views, reach, engagement)
Ad Creative Strategy
- Understand what makes a video perform as an ad
- Brainstorm and implement creative hooks, angles, and storylines
- Collaborate with the team to test new ad concepts
- Learn from ad data to improve future creatives
Requirements
- Proven experience editing short-form video content (Reels / TikToks / Shorts)
- Strong portfolio showing engaging, viral-style edits
- Understanding of organic reach, algorithms, and ad creative strategy
- Familiar with hooks, retention, and scroll-stopping pacing
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Familiarity with Facebook Ads and Instagram / TikTok content culture
- Proficient with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Descript
- Organized, responsive, and able to meet deadlines
Performance KPIs
- On-time delivery of edited videos
- Consistent growth in organic reach and engagement
- Ad creatives meeting or exceeding CTR benchmarks
- Adaptability to feedback and trend shifts
Compensation
- Full-time : $800–$1,200 / month (based on experience and skill)
- Bonuses for hitting engagement or creative performance milestones
