The Senior Tax Accounting Associate supports all facets of direct and indirect tax compliance for our global operations. You’ll partner closely with the U.S. Tax team and cross-functional teams to prepare returns, account reconciliations, provision, maintain tax data, and drive continuous process improvements for U.S. Federal, State, Local and Global tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file Sales & Use Tax returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for U.S. states.
• Manage and track Sales & Use Tax Exemption Certificates; ensure renewals and documentation are up to date.
• Compile Personal Property Tax workpapers and file annual returns
• Prepare Real Estate Tax returns and supporting schedules.
• Develop and maintain Depreciation Workpapers for both domestic and foreign fixed assets.
• Perform Monthly Account Reconciliations for domestic and foreign tax balances.
• Calculate State Apportionment factors, allocate revenues and payroll across jurisdictions.
• Process Monthly Fixed Asset transactions (additions, disposals, transfers) and reconcile to the general ledger.
• Collaborate on Monthly Financial close : review tax-related P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Perform Monthly VAT reconciliation and support for Mexico local filings.
• Prepare statutory Annual Reports and coordinate electronic filings.
• Support FATCA and KYC compliance : manage W-8 / W-9 collection, validation, and documentation.
• Assist U.S. tax provision (ASC 740) data collection and analysis.
• Conduct research on tax issues (cross-border, transfer pricing, VAT credits) and summarize findings.
• Liaise with external advisors and local tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
• Identify process improvement opportunities; implement standardized templates, checklists, and automation.
• Handle ad hoc tax projects : restructurings, intragroup services, treaty analyses, and tax-efficient planning initiatives.
• Maintain a rolling tax calendar; track deadlines, renewals, and deferrals in both jurisdictions.
