Sr Project Manager

Specializes in the management of complex technical projects across functional teams in the organization throughout all the stages of a project including Discovery & Estimation, scheduling, prioritizing, expectation setting, vendor management, stakeholder management, execution, testing, deployment, closing, and cost management.

Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards and meet customer expectations.

Manages technical, nontechnical and financial aspects of the project.

Assembles project teams and manages resource allocation and day-to-day operations of the project, including active management of Risks & Issues.

Manages communications and change management strategies for relevant stakeholders for each project at a team, Division, and Executive Levels.

Provides logistical project support, risk management, and progress reporting LEAD : Recognized subject matter expert in sub-function typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Capable of producing project metrics based on BAC, EAC, BTC, ETC, and Actuals, Burndown, and Financials.

Strong at Project planning Methodology (SDLC & Agile) and tools (MS Project, Planview)

Able to summarize complex problems / RCA into executive terms.

Responsibilities typically include :

• Managing large projects or processes and / or products and systems with limited oversight from management.
• Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
• Facing IT function related problems that are difficult and moderately complex.
• Serving as an expert within own discipline

Requirements :

Waterfall / SDLC and SCRUM, Agile, or similar PM methodology

Well-rounded in the use of MS Office productivity tools : Excell, Word, PowerPoint,etc.

Fluid in English with written and spoken communications related to the IT industry.

Program / portfolio mgmt, Project mgmt, Communication and stakeholder mgmt, Change planning, implementation, and mgmt

Capacity mgmt and prioritization, Vendor Mgmt, Business / insurance acumen
