Tax and internal control manager

MISSION :

Ensure comprehensive tax compliance and risk management by overseeing processes such as tax reporting, transfer pricing, tax consultancy, statutory opinions, and tax accounting.

Lead the implementation and maintenance of internal controls across the organization, ensuring proper documentation in accordance with corporate guidelines and local regulatory requirements.

MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB :

• Ensure Tax Compliance
• Follow up on statutory audit recommendations, quarterly revisions, and detailed observance over internal audit procedures.
• Coordinate and comply with requirements for Transfer Pricing.
• Collaborate in addressing inquiries related to fiscal and tax compliance, escalating cases when necessary.
• Secure positive opinion of Tax Statutory Opinion (planning, anticipating, aligning and execution)
• Maintain a basic understanding of Deferred Tax concepts and provide support in reconciliations
• Assist in Effective Tax Rate analysis and preparation of notes for financial statements.
• Support in monitoring potential tax risks and controls.
• Ensure full compliance of Internal Control acting as coordinator and knowledge facilitator of assessment waves according headquarter calendar.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and communication with Regional and Global offices under supervision.
• Support in identifying opportunities for process improvement or automation.
• Responsible for update policies and documentation.
• Collaborate in coordinating with external legal firms when required.
• Assist in maintaining insurance documentation and supporting claims processes.

Provide Support about Segregation of duties analysis and control in different platforms.
