A Snapshot of Your Day
The position is for work on disassembly and assembly of gas turbines
exceeding 100 MW. 90% of the time is required for travel to maintenance
projects at power plants internationally. Day-to-day activities include
mechanical disassembly and assembly, sizing and taking clearances on gas
turbine components, also crane maneuvering activities, always working under the
company's EHS and quality standards. Specialization in different turbine models
is possible through the time.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Perform mechanical activities such as disassembly and assembly of gas
turbine components following company field procedures.
Handle precision tools and operate hydraulic, pneumatic, and lifting
equipment safely and effectively.
Maneuver turbine components using cranes and other lifting devices in
compliance with safety standards.
Implement EHS best practices and conduct risk analysis prior to
performing any field service activities.
Complete quality documentation (e.g., data sheets) for all tasks
performed and maintain accurate records.
What You Bring
Technical education : completed a mechanical technical degree or high
school, with intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).
3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance of gas turbines, steam
turbines, and / or electric generators at thermoelectric power plants.
Expertise in turbine component handling, including crane operations and
forklift driving, with solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic,
precision, and oxyacetylene tools.
Strong EHS practices and ability to perform risk analysis before field
service activities.
Team-oriented and adaptable, capable of working in dynamic environments
with changing priorities.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 90% of the time for field
assignments.
