BYD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Solar Sales Manager to lead business-to-business (B2B) sales efforts in the solar PV industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, proven experience in developing large-scale solar projects, and the ability to build long-term client partnerships that drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies for medium to large-scale solar PV projects.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiation to project handover.
- Provide technical and commercial guidance to clients, ensuring solutions align with their needs and BYD’s capabilities.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, legal, finance, and project management) to deliver competitive proposals and ensure successful project execution.
- Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Marketing , or related fields.Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the solar PV industryProven experience in developing and maintaining medium to large-scale solar projects (preferred).Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills .Advanced English proficiencySolid understanding of solar PV technologies, market trends, and industry standards .“At BYD Mexico, we promote equal employment opportunities and respect for diversity.
