Network Engineer:

As a Senior Network Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing managing and supporting complex network solutions. You will work closely with other IT professionals government personnel and contractors to ensure optimal performance and security of the network systems.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on enterprise-level network design and management.

Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Juniper or similar network equipment.

Strong understanding of network protocols routing switching and security principles.

Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required by the location and nature of the work.

Certifications such as CCNP CCIE CISSP or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Design configure and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and other network devices.

Monitor network performance troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to ensure network reliability and efficiency.

Develop and implement network security measures to protect data software and hardware.

Perform regular network assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network-related projects and initiatives.

Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations processes and procedures.

Stay updated with the latest network technologies trends and best practices to ensure the network infrastructure remains current and robust.
