Segment Buyer

Specifically responsible for Divisional Segment Purchasing of Fabric and Coatings in support of multiple Product Lines. Works within a purchasing team to create a purchasing strategy for a segment of goods. Supports Product Area Manager & Global Segment Manager. Evaluates vendor quotes services and savings to determine the most desirable suppliers. Works all aspects of vendor relationship management and lifecycle. Supports divisional workshops & Zero-Defect Strategy with Supplier Quality. Requires a bachelors degree with preference given for knowledge skills and abilities that apply most directly to the position. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function as it relates specifically to Raw Materials purchasing new technology and manufacturing methods.

What youll do:

Support Multiple Product Line Teams

Support specific Standard Components; Raw Materials for Product Lines

Strong understanding of raw materials: Fabrics and Coatings is required

Meet stated KPIs for MPV Supplier Consolidation NCM WCC etc

Develop best in class suppliers (Cost Quality Delivery)

Responsible for negotiations cost modeling LTA Resourcing & other

What is required:

Bachelors Degree is required

Advanced English skills

Previous Experience in Purchasing Standard Components Raw Material Trends Engineering Quality Negotiation Resins.

Organization Negotiation and Communication skills.
