Email Marketer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Email Marketer to build, send, and report on email and nurture campaigns targeting hospital and healthcare audiences.

In this role, you will work closely with the Demand Generation Manager, who will set the overall campaign strategy, while you take ownership of turning that strategy into accurate, on-brand, and on-time email campaigns. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing a recurring send calendar, and understands the importance of accuracy, deliverability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build, proof, schedule, and send marketing emails and multi-step nurture campaigns using HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform.
• Segment and target email campaigns based on lists, lifecycle stages, and campaign requirements.
• QA every email before launch, including links, personalization tokens, mobile rendering, deliverability, and brand standards.
• Adapt approved copy and creative into on-brand, mobile-friendly email templates.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Creative teams to ensure messaging and offers are accurate and approved before campaigns go live.
• Maintain an organized email calendar and campaign documentation.
• Track and report campaign performance, including open rates, clicks, conversions, unsubscribes, and deliverability.
• Support list hygiene, including suppressions, bounces, opt-outs, and segmentation updates.
• Identify and escalate deliverability issues, list-quality concerns, or performance trends.
• Ensure campaigns follow applicable email marketing and privacy requirements, including CAN-SPAM and CASL.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on email marketing experience.
• Experience with HubSpot or a comparable email marketing/marketing automation platform.
• Understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, A/B testing, mobile optimization, and accessibility.
• Basic HTML/CSS skills for email template troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience marketing to hospitals, healthcare organizations, or other regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot workflows, lists, forms, and reporting.
• Familiarity with CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, or similar email compliance requirements.
• Basic graphic design or Canva skills.
• Experience supporting nurture or lifecycle marketing campaigns.
