Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new independent publicly traded company which were calling SpinCo until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs this role will support SpinCo which will focus on critical digital infrastructure delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications

The Assembly Process Engineer will be based in Guadalajara North. reporting to Process Manager

Develop and implement mechanical assembly processes capable of ensuring process stability capacity and continuous improvement while meeting quality productivity and safety standards.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop implement and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency quality and operational performance.

• Provide specialized technical support to manufacturing and cross-functional teams ensuring timely resolution of process-related issues.

• Lead and manage projects from planning through execution ensuring objectives timelines and budgets are achieved.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity waste reduction and process optimization.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards safety regulations and operational procedures.

The experience were looking to add to our team:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electronics Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.

• Experience in mechanical and/or electronic assembly processes.

• Technical knowledge of:

• Smart Torque Systems

• PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)

• Liquid Cooling Systems

• Pneumatics

• Poka-Yoke Systems

• Industrial Maintenance

• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Scrap reduction.

• First Pass Yield (FPY) improvement.

• Cost savings and productivity enhancements.

• Customer satisfaction and support.

• Audit results and compliance metrics.
