We are currently searching for a Senior ServiceNow Developer:
The Challenge (Responsibilities)
- Initialize local applications transform metadata and deploy scoped applications from a local IDE (e.g. VS Code).
- Define application metadata in code using ServiceNow Fluent server-side JavaScript modules and third-party libraries.
- Execute incident management problem management change management knowledge management service catalog and service level management (SLM) workflows.
- Develop custom scoped applications and build web-based tools utilizing Java J2EE Servlet JSP XML AJAX SQL jQuery and JavaScript.
- Work extensively with REST APIs to coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues.
- Develop maintain and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets.
- Obtain analyze and interpret business requirements to propose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow answering complex how-to configuration questions for senior stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive system design and operations documentation.
Your Profile (Requirements)
- 8 years of proven experience in ServiceNow platform development and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow SDK (NOW SDK).
- Deep understanding of core platform features flow designer ACLs server-side APIs and client-side APIs.
- Strong knowledge of ATF (Automated Test Framework) reports dashboards import sets transformations update sets system clones and upgrades.
- Exceptional problem-analysis skills including the use of mathematical concepts to validate results.
- Strong analytical ability to collect organize disseminate and present significant amounts of information with high attention to detail.
- Clear and concise communication with superior written and verbal skills to articulate technical aspects to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision in a global team environment.
- High-Performance Mindset: Resilience emotional intelligence and a focus on agile delivery.
- Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between coding and engineering.
Desired
- Experience leveraging Now Assist for Creator (or similar generative AI developer tools) to optimize development efficiency code generation and workflow automation.
- Solid understanding of ITSM and CSM modules Event Management Integrations and Orchestration.
- A fair understanding of MID Server Configuration CMDB discovery and asset management.
- Strong knowledge and experience with debugging and troubleshooting mechanisms in ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
