Associate Corporate Counsel, International Stores Legal, MX

Amazons Mexico Legal Team is seeking a talented attorney to support our Consumer Business a large and diverse team building the technology and programs that help millions of customers shop in our stores. You will provide day-to-day legal support to business clients focused on launching new initiatives and product categories. You will partner with the business team on a broad range of product commercial marketing and regulatory matters such as ensuring compliance with regulators and supporting strategic business relationships.

Key job responsibilities
Providing ongoing legal support in a wide range of legal areas such as competition consumer protection privacy and regulatory compliance.
Serving as lead counsel and directly advising business clients on products services and strategic deals.
Structuring drafting and negotiating complex commercial deals.
Ability to function autonomously yet communicates laterally and upwardly with ease.
Strong legal and business judgment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish languages.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

- 4 years of legal experience
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Speak write and read fluently in Spanish and English at C1 level or above
- Bachelors degree in Law

- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Experience influencing senior leaders/stakeholders
- Experience working proactively and independently meeting deadlines and delivering on projects and tasks
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Legal experience in any of the following areas is a plus: retail regulatory marketing
