Senior QA Engineer Remote LATAM

Kwan is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help establish and drive a strong quality assurance process for a growing technology team.

In this role youll have the opportunity to take ownership of the QA process define testing strategies improve test coverage and help build a solid foundation for both manual and automated testing.

What Youll Do

• Own and drive the QA process including manual and automated testing.
• Design and maintain comprehensive test coverage with a strong focus on data consistency accuracy and correctness.
• Develop and maintain structured test cases and test tracking using tools such as Testiny TestRail or similar.
• Perform thorough API testing and validation.
• Work alongside development teams to integrate QA effectively into existing development and CI processes.
• Identify potential quality risks and recommend improvements to testing strategies and processes.
• Take ownership of QA decisions and confidently communicate testing approaches and recommendations.

What Were Looking For

• 7 years of professional QA experience preferably across multiple organizations or products.
• Strong experience with data validation data integrity and correctness testing.
• Solid experience testing REST APIs and integrations.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with PHP/Laravel or similar backend technologies is a plus.
• Experience with test management tools such as Testiny TestRail or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly self-directed organized and comfortable taking ownership of QA processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
