This role is hybrid in Mexico City (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday) in our offices in Reforma.

• This position is on the Non-Human Identity (NHI) team a key new area on the Delinea platform. You will help build the products that discover govern and secure machine identities: service accounts secrets workloads and AI agents. These now outnumber human identities 46:1 in every enterprise. As an Associate Software Engineer you will contribute to the development and maintenance of secure scalable microservices using C# running in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure and backed by Azure Cosmos DB and RabbitMQ while supporting infrastructure automation with Terraform under the guidance of senior engineers.
  
  This position plays a key role in strengthening Delineas identity and access management ecosystem through high-quality engineering practices and innovation. You will report to the teams engineering manager.
  
  
  What Youll Do:

  • Help develop test and maintain secure microservices and distributed system components using C# .NET following Delineas cloud and security architecture standards.

  • Support data access development across Azure Cosmos DB and relational systems (Azure SQL) and contribute to caching and RabbitMQ-based event-driven workflows for internal and platform messaging.

  • Assist with integrations to enterprise identity providers (Okta Microsoft Entra ID/Graph) and internal identity and multi-tenancy services to support secure tenant-aware access control.

  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform following established patterns for provisioning and maintaining Azure resources.

  • Contribute to and help maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure automated deployments using Azure DevOps.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers product managers and DevOps teams on assigned features and routine problems escalating more complex issues as needed.

  • Participate in code and design reviews applying learned techniques for performance security and maintainability.

  • Prepare initial technical documentation and analysis for review by senior engineering team members and build productive working relationships across the team.

    
    What Youll Need:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science software engineering or a related technical field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

  • Foundational experience in software engineering with C# .NET; exposure to microservices architectures is a plus.

  • Familiarity with data access across NoSQL databases (Azure Cosmos DB or similar) and relational databases (e.g. Azure SQL) including basic schema design.

  • Exposure to event-driven message-based systems (e.g. RabbitMQ Kafka or Azure Service Bus).

  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts in a cloud environment.

  • Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for Azure Cloud.

  • Foundational understanding of cloud security principles identity management privileged access control and policy-based authorization approaches (e.g. Cedar).

  Wed Love to See:

  • Experience integrating with enterprise identity providers such as Okta or Microsoft Entra ID/Graph.

  • Knowledge of observability frameworks (Datadog OpenTelemetry) for monitoring and success in Agile software development and continuous delivery environments.
