With more than 13,000 employees across 18 production, maintenance and engineering sites, Safran is the number one employer in the Mexican aerospace industry.Job description : Plan and specify NDT purchases necessary to specification requirementsEnsure a means of colleting and distributing complied information in order to improve qualityRead and interpret drawings and other quality control requirementsEnsure safe practices are used in compliance with all governmental regulationsDrive lean effort within manufacturing focusing on QualitySupport and lead projects undertaken by the engineering team un NDT methodologyThis individual must be a motivated, self-starter that canlearn on the fly and take ownership of their tasksCreate NDT reports that account for all aplicable fetures based on drawingsPeform machine setups and trials for development projects as necessaryIdentify improvement opportunities in NDTWork with outside service providers as needed to support business unit needsPresent solutions / recommendations to bussines units for capital equipment purchasesManage capital equipment purchases by preparing ROI and CAPEX, and furthermore managing the supplier throughout the complete cycle from machine quotations to machine installationsCommunicate with suppliers in a manner that helps achieve bussines needsDevelop presentations and / or documentation to allow for clear understanding of projects to SAFRAN colleaguesJob profile : L2 RT or UTMust have shop floor experience and knowledge of NDTAble to propose tools or changes to methodsEffective problem-solving skills for job related issues and root cause corrective actionAbility to meet job and customer requirementsAbility to follow quality system requirementsExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and abilities, maintaining professional interaction with coworkers and any other representative external or otherwise requiredAbility to act and think analytically with exceptional attention to detailAbility to correctly read and interpret technical dataKnowledge of lean manufacturing techniques with ability to design robust processExperience with other NDT techniques is a plus
