• Lead the overall accounting and cost management function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely month-end and year-end closings, proper inventory valuation, cost control, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and corporate policies.
• Define and lead the organization's overall financial strategy, ensuring that financial, operational, and growth objectives are achieved in alignment with the corporate plan.
• Oversee and coordinate the Finance, Accounting, Costing, FP&A, Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and IT teams, ensuring efficient operations, strong internal controls, and alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and consolidate financial and tax budgets, while closely monitoring performance against targets and recommending adjustments when deviations occur or business strategies evolve.
• Ensure the timely and accurate generation of financial information, providing key analyses to support informed decision-making aligned with the company's actual performance.
• Identify operational, financial, and internal control risks, proposing and overseeing preventive and corrective actions to safeguard business stability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and tax regulations, while promoting the proper implementation of international accounting standards such as IFRS and U.S. GAAP, when applicable.
• Maintain ongoing communication with executive leadership and corporate stakeholders, presenting financial results, performance reports, and forecasts in a clear, concise, and strategic manner.

Perfil del candidato

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Advanced conversational English.
• Valid U.S. visa (required).
• More than 5 years of management experience within multinational manufacturing companies operating in Mexico.
• Proven experience leading teams across Finance, Accounting, Costing, FP&A, and Tax functions.
• Hands-on experience applying IFRS and U.S. GAAP standards.
• Experience with SAP and Power BI is preferred.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills.
