Manufacturing Engineer, Equipment

• Provide manufacturing engineering for equipment tools and processes for our production facilities automotive Interiors projects; this equipment and tooling will be primarily automated assembly and plastics joining applications.
• Provide equipment and tooling cost estimates for new business quotations.
• Provide new equipment specifications and generate equipment statement of requirements.
• Fully support the Product Development Teams through regular meeting attendance personal interaction commitment to deliverables and support for team members.
• Provide project management to ensure equipment and tools to be ready on time within budget meeting all quality standards and meeting all pertinent safety standards.
• Coordinate equipment installation at plant and support start-up and debug phase. This sometimes requires extensive time spent at the manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate efforts with purchasing group to research and evaluate new technologies and suppliers that meet Inteva standards to expand our capabilities and advantages.
