About the role

As a RTR Accounting Specialist you will execute and analyze a wide range of general accounting activities that support the integrity of financial reporting and this role you will contribute to key processes including financial reporting close activities budgeting and audits while also supporting business operations through insightful financial analysis. You will play a vital role in maintaining strong internal controls and driving continuous improvement across accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a RTR Accounting Specialist youll be responsible for:

• Managing and analyzing accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles standards and regulatory requirements

• Preparing and maintaining general ledger entries including project and/or government accounting activities

• Performing monthly and quarterly close and consolidation activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Developing and documenting accounting policies procedures and control processes

• Preparing budgets and forecasts and analyzing variances between actual and planned results

• Analyzing business operations costs revenues and financial commitments to accurately reflect financial position

• Supporting internal and external audits ensuring compliance and timely completion

• Leading smallscale projects and contributing to process improvement initiatives

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Accounting

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and internal controls

• Experience performing monthend and quarterend close activities

• Advanced English proficiency

• Advanced degree in Accounting or a related field

• Experience working with ERP systems

• SAP experience

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
