Rtr Senior Accountant

Lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) function across the Americas, driving operational excellence.

Oversee the daily activities of the General Ledger (GL) Accounting team, including employee supervision, task monitoring, and fulfillment of internal reporting requirements.

Responsibilities include GL account reconciliations, trial balance reviews, and collaboration with local Finance teams to identify and implement necessary adjustments.Ensure strong team performance by fostering an engaged and proactive culture.

Monitor team capacity, vacation balances, and compliance with mandatory training requirements.

Develop and execute mitigation plans to ensure seamless service delivery.Oversee global accounting operations, promote integration and continuous improvement, and lead process optimization initiatives and transitions within the team.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager.ResponsabilitiesExecute core accounting tasks such as invoice accruals, journal entries, internal order settlements, and currency revaluations.Manage month-end close activities , including cut-off processing, sub-ledger operations (AP / AR / GL), and financial ledger closure.Handle tax provisions, allocations, and cycles to ensure accurate financial reporting.Review financial data , including cost center expenses and preliminary regional P&L statements.Prepare and reconcile reports for consolidation, including submission checklists and GL transfers.Support team operations and performance , ensuring KPIs are met and acting as a key escalation point.Lead by example , promoting structure, accountability, and a proactive mindset while performing additional duties as assigned.RequirementsFluent in English (spoken and written), with excellent communication skills.4–6 years of relevant experience in general accounting, with solid knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes.Bachelor's degree and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP ECC is a plus.Strong customer service orientation and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.Critical thinker with strong time management skills.Resilient under pressure, with the ability to handle frustration and meet deadlines.
