About the job
Responsible for overseeing all non-transactional service delivery activities within the SBS department at the Mexico (Polanco) location. This role leads key initiatives such as transition programs, change management, process improvement, budget management, and alignment with SBS strategy.
The SBS Operations Supervisor partners closely with Service Delivery teams and leadership to ensure effective execution, capacity planning, and service placement. This role is also accountable for managing transition pipelines, ensuring smooth handoffs between teams, and monitoring SLA performance throughout the transition lifecycle.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Finance leadership, operations, or business process management.
- 2+ years of people management experience (preferred).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Experience leading change, transformation, and process improvement initiatives.
Preferred:
- MBA and/or CPA.
- Experience in shared services or global business services environments.
About the job (Responsibilities)
- Manage and oversee non-transactional SBS operations, including transition programs, change management initiatives, and process improvement efforts.
- Lead regional transition programs ensuring standardization, harmonization, optimization, and smooth handoffs across teams.
- Monitor and track SLA performance throughout transitions to ensure service quality and operational continuity.
- Collaborate with SBS leadership and Service Delivery teams to manage demand pipeline, capacity planning, and service placement strategies.
- Support acquisitions and divestitures by overseeing SBS-related activities within the region.
Financial & Operational Management
- Prepare and manage the facility budget, including tracking and allocating charges related to SBS services, IT services, and facility operations.
- Partner with Accounts Receivable to process and monitor service-related charges.
- Establish and improve service billing models to ensure accurate cost allocation across teams.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Design, document, and maintain processes, SOPs, playbooks, and governance repositories for the region.
- Evaluate and enhance SBS service catalog processes, including tools, taxonomies, and business process frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and process optimization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and operational tools.
Team & Capability Development
- Develop programs to strengthen operational excellence capabilities across the team.
- Promote a consistent way of working, reduce process variation, eliminate waste, and mitigate risk.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
