We are looking for a Sales Planning Specialist to support the Sales area in developing market‑driven sales strategies, forecasting demand, and ensuring strong alignment between sales plans, dealer performance, and product availability. This role requires a highly analytical professional who thrives in dynamic environments, understands the automotive commercial cycle, and can translate data into actionable recommendations that support decision‑making.
Position Objective
Provide end‑to‑end sales planning, market analysis, forecasting, and operational coordination to meet commercial objectives across regions, models, and dealer networks.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Planning & Forecasting
- Assist in developing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, broken down by region, model, and dealer.
- Build, maintain, and update sales forecasts, incorporating market trends, dealer feedback, and product‑mix insights.
- Support volume planning, demand scenarios, and tracking against business objectives.
Sales Data Analysis & Monitoring
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze national sales data, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics to generate actionable business insights.
- Monitor new model launches, allocation plans, and their alignment with marketing activities.
- Track regional and dealer performance, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
Vehicle Allocation & Billing
- Manage vehicle allocation according to sales plan, inventory levels, and dealer performance.
- Coordinate accurate and timely billing to the dealer network.
Reporting & Presentations
- Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and sales performance presentations for leadership meetings.
- Provide insights on volume, inventory levels, orders, market share, forecast deviations, and key commercial KPIs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree completed (Business, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or related fields).
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in Sales Planning, Product Planning, Commercial Operations, or Dealer/Network Performance roles.
Technical Knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of sales KPIs, forecasting, inventory, model mix, and allocation processes.
Languages
- English: Advanced (required)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical thinking, able to interpret large datasets and market indicators.
- High attention to detail, organization, and responsibility.
- Experience working with premium brands is a strong plus.
- Solid communication skills to interact with dealers, internal teams, and management.
