Accounting Odoo Consultant Mexico

We are hiring an Odoo Accounting Consultant to join the Portcities Mexico team!

This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of dynamic Odoo implementation projects, with a strong focus on accounting and finance modules. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, configure the system, deliver user training, and provide post-implementation support—ensuring real impact on how organizations manage their finances.

Job Description

• Participate in the implementation of Odoo accounting projects in alignment with client requirements and best practices.
• Support the configuration of accounting modules, financial workflows, and related system functionalities.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Actively participate in client meetings to understand needs, propose solutions, and ensure project alignment.
• Deliver training sessions and knowledge transfer to end users to ensure effective system adoption.
• Provide functional support to clients during implementation and post-go-live phases.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of system processes, configurations, and user guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
• Interest in ERPs and digital transformation.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Communication and customer service skills.
• Basic Google Workspace management.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal skills to build solid relationships with the team, clients, and external partners.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Good time management, problem-solving focus, and a proactive attitude.
• Growth mindset and positive attitude.

• We offer a monthly gross salary between MXN 24,000 and MXN 35,000, with final compensation to be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
