The maintenance superintendent is responsible for planning and developing maintenance activities that keep KPIs within target, as well as providing resources and technical support for assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Understand the EAM HXG system for maintenance management
- Understand the main maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, MPS)
- Collaborate with planners and supervisors to develop tasks to maintain indicators within expected values
- Ensure critical spare parts are in the EAM system with defined maximum and minimum stock levels
- Ensure preventive maintenance plans are completed on time and correctly
- Ensure new equipment meets safety standards and the points specified in the EQF (Engineering Qualification Form)
- Prepare reports on key KPIs for action plans
- Maintain the necessary information to comply with both internal and external audits
- Ensure all equipment is registered and has appropriate MPs (Maintenance Plans) scheduled within the EAM system • Monitoring and resolving 8D issues
- Supporting departmental meetings for problem-solving
- Technical support for supervisors and technicians in the area regarding recurring problems
- Sending information requested by other departments for closing quality findings or alerts
- Supporting plant safety activities
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ minimum experience in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of assembly processes, FOAM processes, decorative and regular cutting and sewing machines.
