This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace while minimizing environmental impact.

You will develop and implement strategic programs, policies, and procedures that align with both organizational goals and regulatory standards.

As a key leader, you will foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, while coaching and guiding teams to uphold our values and behaviors.Preferred QualificationsProven ability to manage complexity and solve problems using data-driven insights and strategic thinking.Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement across safety and environmental processes.Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust across diverse teams.Experience in coaching and developing team capabilities in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.3–6 years of professional experience in health, safety, and environmental roles, with demonstrated ability to advise others.Advanced knowledge of health and safety systems, regulatory compliance, and safe work practices.Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance in planning, policy interpretation, and action planning.Position OverviewAs the Environmental, Health and Safety Supervisor, you will lead the company's efforts to minimize hazards to the environment and risks to employee health and safety.

You will ensure compliance with internal and governmental standards by developing and directing integrated programs across EHS and energy functions.Key responsibilities include : Enforcing HSE policies and identifying patterns of risky behavior to mitigate workplace hazards.Investigating incidents and ensuring regulatory compliance across all internal functions.Collaborating cross-functionally to champion regulatory and registration requirements.Providing expert advice and resolving complex queries from internal and external stakeholders.Supporting business requirements gathering and external communications.Tracking budgets and reporting variances.Managing performance systems and coaching team members to meet objectives.Translating strategic plans into actionable goals and motivating teams to achieve them.Contributing to functional strategy formation through specialist insights.You will embody GKN's core values and behaviors, including strategic thinking, continuous improvement, effective communication, accountability, and action orientation.
