Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field, certification in welding processes.

Main responsibilities of the position:

Responsible for overseeing the welding operations in a manufacturing environment.

This role involves supervising a team of welders, ensuring the quality and efficiency of welding processes, and maintaining a safe working environment.

The Welding Line Supervisor collaborates with manufacturing engineers and quality control personnel to meet production goals, maintain product quality, and improve welding techniques.

Main job-specific requirements / skills:

• Strong background in various welding techniques and processes.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of welding equipment, materials, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and motivate team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  

Optional:

• Welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
