Cost Accountant

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Cost Accountant located in Guadalajara, South Campus.

Reporting to Cost Accountant, the Cost Accountant will be in charge of preparing and maintaining accounting records and researching and interpreting accounting records to give advice or prepare statements

What a typical day looks like:

• Perform periodic review of Profit and Loss (P&L) accounts to ensure that all the postings are done as per the defined Policy, Process andProcedures.
• Compare the Actual with Forecast / Quote and ensure that the variances are properly researched and required adjustment postings are done in the books. Collect the business reasons for the remaining variances and reportappropriately.
• Reconcile all the scoped Balance sheet accounts with sub ledger/manual schedule to identify the variance, if any and ensure that those variances are properly dealt in the books ofaccounts.
• Review the accounts on periodic basis to identify any potential risk and ensure that the same is mitigatedproperly.
• Ensure that all the book close related /reporting activities are properly planned and executed on timely basis with utmost accuracy.
• Work with relevant teams to prepare the Forecast / Budget for the relatedaccounts.
• Work along with Operations team to improve the business / operational metrics.
• Be familiar with relevant Accounting, regulatory and reporting requirements in the Controllers Handbook and RCTS

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• B. Com / B.C. S / M. Com / MBA /BBA/ BBM, any other commerce and Accounts Stream degrees.
• Strong Knowledge of Finance and accounting Concepts.
• Good written & oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Should be flexible to work in shifts to hold up business requirements.
• Investigation, Problem-solving & good relational skills.
• Exercises independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to achieve objectives.
