Production Planning Supervisor
Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Planning Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Site.
Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, Production Planning Supervisor role involves In charge of helping materials and production functions.
What a typical day looks like:
Guides order processing activities for major customer units.
Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
Serves as advanced interface with customer for escalations of order dedications, order expedites, and problem resolution.
Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to dedicated ship date (CSD), turnaround time, reply time, and inventory goals.
Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
May also hold up inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
Manages the activities of his subordinates
Guides and coordinates the supply of raw materials to the corresponding destinations
Supervise inventories
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
Experience as a Materials Supervisor or Inventory Control Coordinator
Inventory management experience
Experience in materials assortment in the production floor.
Intermediate Excel
Availability for T2
Personnel Management
Results oriented
Proficiency in MRP, BAAN & Flex Flow
