Overview
The Head of Growth will own the end-to-end acquisition and retention strategy, driving sustainable, measurable revenue across all performance channels. This role blends high-level strategic leadership with hands-on execution across paid media, Amazon marketplace growth, CRO, email / SMS, SEO, influencer partnerships, and overall funnel optimization. The ideal candidate is a data-driven operator who can architect the growth roadmap, lead cross-functional teams, manage agencies, and continuously optimize for efficiency, scale, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition & Performance Marketing
- Own the full paid media strategy and execution across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Lead Amazon marketplace growth, including PPC campaign optimization, creative development, and conversion improvements.
- Build, launch, and scale performance-driven campaigns with a focus on ROAS, CAC efficiency, and incremental revenue growth.
- Continuously evaluate, test, and expand into new marketing channels and customer acquisition opportunities.
Retention & Lifecycle Marketing
Lead email and SMS strategy to drive repeat purchases, loyalty, and long-term customer value.Define customer segments and develop retention-focused journeys, automated flows, and lifecycle programs.Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-impact content that resonates across customer touchpoints.Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
Own key onsite performance metrics including conversion rate, AOV, and bounce rate.Develop and run A / B tests across landing pages, PDPs, checkout flow, and merchandising experiences.Partner with product, UX, and creative teams to improve site experience and funnel efficiency.Data, Analytics & Forecasting
Establish KPIs for all growth channels and lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting.Analyze customer cohorts, behavioral data, and channel efficiency to inform strategy.Build revenue and acquisition forecasts tied to performance and budget allocation.Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor an internal growth team while managing external agencies and freelancers.Collaborate closely with creative, brand, product, and operations teams to align growth initiatives with broader business goals.Foster a culture of innovation, testing, and continuous optimization.
Requirements
6–10+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or e-commerce leadership roles.Demonstrated success scaling DTC brands; experience in lifestyle, kids, consumer goods, or apparel is a plus.Deep expertise across paid media, CRO, email / SMS, attribution, and analytics.Strong background in Amazon marketplace growth (PPC, listing optimization, storefront strategy).Highly analytical with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategy.Proven experience owning growth KPIs and presenting performance to leadership.Experience managing internal teams, external agencies, and fast-moving cross-functional projects.Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute quickly in a dynamic environment.
