Job Purpose
The Head of Purchasing is responsible to source suppliers and develop good relationships to negotiate best agreements for goods, materials, and services to meet the company´s requirements achieving the Spend, tenders, bids, cost estimations and saving KPI´s based on strategies and business decisions.
Responsibilities :
Leadership Responsibilities :
- Disciplinary and functional management of subordinate employees along with strengthening team cohesion, promoting employee motivation and employee retention
- Definition and coordination of personnel planning, including deployment, demand and qualification, in close coordination with the team members
- Responsibility for employee qualification and promoting the continuous development of employees in the area of responsibility
- Derivation and implementation of the strategy in the own area of responsibility from overarching strategic objectives; including the definition of objectives, implementation measures and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assurance of the implementation of measures and compliance with defined targets, budgets and KPIs in the area of responsibility
- Coordinating a continuous improvement process to increase the efficiency of personnel, working environment and processes
- Responsibility for ensuring all safety aspects in the area of responsibility, including occupational health and safety
