Sourcing Specialist

Job Title : Sourcing SpecialistJob DescriptionIn this critical role, you will be responsible for procuring indirect materials and services across assigned locations and categories.

Your expertise will be focused on managing spend and suppliers within North America.

Key responsibilities include processing purchase requisitions through SAP, from verification to conversion into purchase orders.You will also be expected to develop and execute RFP's / RFQ's, review submitted quotations, establish price comparison sheets, present sourcing recommendations, conclude contracts, and place purchase orders accordingly.

Additionally, you may define and implement local category / sub-category strategies for assigned locations, aligning with the AMCS Category Procurement team and internal stakeholders.Your success in meeting Indirect Procurement saving and cost avoidance targets will be a key performance indicator.

You will benchmark responsible spend regularly, identify opportunities, lead supplier negotiations, and implement solutions within your assigned locations and categories.Effective contract management is also an essential aspect of this role, including ensuring transparency of all contracts, reviewing terms and validities regularly.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field;Minimum 4 years' relevant professional experience in indirect site procurement or category procurement teams, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.Proven negotiation and contract management skills, particularly with international and local suppliers.Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.Analytical, team-oriented, well-organized individual with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Experience with MS Office tools, including SAP.Fluent English language skills.BenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally and make a significant impact on our organization's operations.OthersWe are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters collaboration and growth.
