Overview

Data Architect Job Description

As a senior-level Data Architect, you will play a key role in shaping our data strategy and driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures that align with business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Lead data integration initiatives to ensure quality, consistency, and availability of information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical and functional alignment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in similar IT / IS and data architecture roles.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Big Data solutions and cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Languages : Fluent English / French (nice to have).
  • Communication : Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with senior leadership.
  • Interpersonal Skills : Ability to collaborate in a diverse and dynamic environment.

    • Technical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database systems.
  • Experience with Big Data tools and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
  • Designing and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Expertise in ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Apache Nifi, etc.).
  • Experience integrating data across enterprise systems.
  • Defining standards and policies for data governance.
  • Implementing security measures for data management.
  • Knowledge of regulations like GDPR or other relevant standards.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, R, or similar for data analysis and processing.
