Responsibilities and Requirements for EHS Management
Controls the EHS management program in areas such as safety, machine release, working conditions, ergonomics, environmental protection, energy management, occupational health, and hygiene.
Ensures requirements are met by contributing to the prevention and protection of sites and employees.
Monitors EHS activities within the IMS system, including process reviews, KPI management, periodic updates of procedures, implementation of corrective and preventive actions, and resource allocation, considering relevant requirements and their evolution.
Updates risk assessments, tracks safety observations, legal compliance, machine conformity, TF2, OPAD results, energy consumption, and CO2 emissions.
Responsible for making quick, accurate decisions with appropriate prioritization to meet objectives.
Ensures control and analysis of indicators such as IPI's and Score Card.
Manages the budget and CAPEX for the area, optimizing resource use.
Ensures compliance with standards like IATF
Strives to meet internal and external customer expectations.
Enforces processes and procedures related to the area and oversees personnel training and selection to maintain a stable work environment.
Supervises product and hazardous substance control entering the plant via MSDS management.
Coordinates with Maintenance for inspections and tests of firefighting equipment and manages emergency programs.
Follows up on safety initiatives such as OCR's system, safety ambassadors, and ergonomics programs.
Manages the ISO
Collaborates with management to ensure system compliance and effectiveness.
Participates in risk analysis and environmental program activities, supporting the environmental and audit committees.
Holds ISO
Works with various company areas to ensure proper IMS functioning and leads the Safety pillar, overseeing related activities.
Tests, suggests, and defines necessary personal protective equipment, monitoring its use.
Coordinates safety weeks and reports as required by plant management or division.
Participates actively in HR activities and events.
