Production Planning Professional
The key role of the Production Planning Professional is to develop and maintain an effective production plan, aligning it with customer demands. This involves creating and reviewing forecasts for workload and capacity adequacy, ensuring optimal production line balancing, scheduling product manufacturing, and taking into account production constraints such as capacity, industrial scenarios, and deadlines over a nine- to 12-month horizon.
Main Responsibilities :
- Monitors progress of production manufacturing, coordinates resolution of production issues, and participates in defining and implementing improvement actions.
- Stays updated on every action within the production process and disseminates planning information according to customer requirements on a regular basis.
- Smothers workloads according to site closure periods and critical resources in the manufacturing process.
- Analyzes manufacturing cycles and their evolution.
- Alerts on anomalies and impact measurement (consistency of planning, input data, and means of production, etc).
- Proposes planning optimization actions.
- Takes planning data into account and relays this information to various production stakeholders.
- Monitors manufacturing progress and ensures synchronization with the schedule.
- Coordinates the resolution of production issues and implements corrective and preventive actions.
- Produces and presents indicators, analyzing potential problems and implementing solutions.
Requirements :
Professional with bachelor's degree.3 years of experience in planning or manufacturing operations.Fluency in English (read, write, and speak).Advanced Excel skills.SAP / ERP systems experience.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Analytical with a high sense of urgency.
