Job Overview
Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of the materials through the production cycles and forecasts the material and labor requirements based on upcoming orders.
Responsibilities
- Projecting revenues for assigned value streams, assisting with the capacity analysis and managing the scheduling plan in accordance with the inputs of the sales and operations department.
- Coordinating with the sales function to provide lead times based on the schedule of the plant and meeting the timelines and metrics for the key stakeholders and customers.
- Evaluating the cost and quality of the materials, collaborating with the production and engineering teams to determine the order date and quantity of the materials.
- Monitoring the performance of the suppliers, suggesting inputs in the strategic sourcing of the goods, and assisting with the documentation to initiate the purchase.
