The client is seeking a Software Engineer on the game console team to contribute and develop a web-based app targeting all popular consoles.Responsibilities : Own key features and improvements, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performanceCollaborate closely with Engineering, Program Management, Product, and QA teams worldwide to shape the technology roadmapDeliver impactful results that align with business and product goalsContribute as part of an international team of 100+ client engineersDirectly support the mission to remain the premier destination for anime streamingLocation : Hybrid role in Mexico City, MXRequirementsFocus AreasCore expertise in JavaScript / TypeScriptWeb application optimization with emphasis on performance, scalability, and user experienceMust-Have Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript / TypeScriptProven track record delivering large-scale, consumer-facing web applicationsStrong background in performance tuning and scalable designAbility to identify bottlenecks and implement effective architectural improvementsNice-to-Have QualificationsExperience building applications for console or smart TV platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, HbbTV)Familiarity with React or other modern frontend frameworksHistory of partnering with senior engineers and leadership to drive technical roadmapsExperience balancing trade-offs between performance and user experiencePrevious involvement in streaming or media platform projects
